The heart was designed by Hans Henrik Hansen in 1944 for Aluminia.
First it came in red and blue and these are today more common than yellow and green, which came later.

Later they were manufactured at Royal Copenhagen, without the colored line on top and foot. They also made them with a few decorations in gold, eg. this one.
