Description: Height 14 cm.
Diameter 28 cm.

Model number 14959.
Capella was designed by Gertrud Vasegaard in 1975, in celebration of Royal Copenhagen's 200 years of founding. The set is one of three dinnerware sets she designed for Royal Copenhagen, of which this is the rarest.
It consisted of only 14 parts, as all parts were intended to be multi-functional.
The cup was both for coffee and tea and its saucer served as the cake plate. The lid of the lid functioned as a bowl and the dinnerware then only have four plate sizes.

Capella is issued in an average assortment, at Gertrud Vasegaard's wish, as part of the charm and character of the set is its differences in mass, which is more like stoneware than porcelain.

The bowl is in perfect condition.
