This small bowl is a re-designed 18th century model, made in three sizes, of which this is the smallest. Note that it has its small branches intact.
Royal Copenhagen begins to produce Blue Fluted as dinnerware No. 1 in 1775 and is still in production. The Half Lace version was introduced in 1886.
The motif is a stylized version of the classic Chinese flower painting that is thousands of years old.
