Arnold Krog wanted to show what Royal Copenhagen managed to produce and initiated a smaller production inspired by the factory's earliest production where the porcelain was more gray and the color deeper.
This resulted in a relatively limited production of less than 5,000 pieces of porcelain over 10 years of production. The templates for paintings are made by Oluf Høst and all pieces are signed with the factory marks that were to imitate the waves used around the 1775-1820s.
