Price: 6,000.- DKK per item

Item number: 499448

Description: Diameter 32 cm.

Rare blue fluted fluted originally intended for a plat de menage.
The dish is factory marked with the 3 waves and a dot as a paint mark. This painters marks is not identified as a specific painter, but the parts known with this mark are all from the factory's first period up to the year 1800. They are all characterized by a great level of detail and very experienced painter.

The dish has an old chip on the standing edge and on the top side there are 4 unglazed circles.
Here originally sat the 4 small holder for oil or vinegar jugs, between which you placed spices and in the middle a large figure. They have fallen off in the owen and are not a later repair. This is revealed by the fact that you can see and feel the fluted porcelain, which would not be possible if it was a later repair, as the flutes were then sanded off.

A similar dish is shown on the front page of "Kongelige Dansk 1775-1820" by Lauritz G. Dorenfeldt.
