Description: Length 23.5 cm.
Width 19 cm.
Height 4.5 cm.

Oval dish from Royal Copenhagen decorated with "Zweibelnmuster" from the 1780s.
Production of this pattern began in 1781.
This pattern was copied by the factory directly from Meissen, most likely via a painter who had been employed by Meissen and took the decoration with him.
The dish is signed with the painter's signature "7." , which can most likely be attributed to Friedrich Abraham Schlegel. He was employed by Royal Copenhagen in 1776-1783, 1785-87 and 1791-1792 and came directly from employment with Meissen.

The dish is with fine dark blue and gray paint on the very, for the time, white porcelain.
It is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The base is an original firing crack and marks from the production.
