Description: The Ant Chair, model 3100, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952 and produced by Fritz Hansen. The chair is made of teak with a three-legged chrome frame. The chair is an early model from the 1950s and is in very good condition.
The Ant was originally designed for the canteen at Novo Nordisk, but quickly became a very popular and well-known chair by Jacobsen.
Fritz Hansen, founded in 1872, has been known since the 1930s for their collaboration with some of the world's most renowned designers, including Arne Jacobsen.
